AN515-43 "Wake on USB while lid closed" works w/ mouse/kb directly connected but not thru USB hub
I have the Acer Nitro AN515-43 with the latest BIOS, V1.10. I'm using Windows 10 2004 (build 19041.450), also the latest. This issue happened with Win10 1909 as well.
I have the BIOS setting "Wake on USB while lid closed" set to enabled, along with power settings and Device Manager settings set up such that I can bring my system back up from sleep if the lid is down and I move my mouse around, for example.
This all works fine if my mouse is directly connected to the laptop via USB, in this case, with the Logitech wireless adapter plugged in.
However, waking up from sleep this way does not work if my Logitech adapter is plugged into my powered USB 2.0 hub which connects to the laptop. I prefer to use a hub for mouse, keyword and printers to keep USB slots on the laptop free for other uses and to have the ability to easily connect them for use on my other laptop.
To summarize, I'm not able to wake the laptop with its lid closed using my mouse/keyboard when those are connected to a USB hub which connects to the laptop.
Is there anything I can possibly do to make this work? Or might this be a BIOS limitation or possible bug?
