Hi there,

Received my monitor today to replace a old panel. Absolutely love it - but when I turn it off using the remote, all my open programs then default to my second monitor, as if its been unplugged? Powering the monitor back on again using the remote and all my apps, including the ones not on the predator previous then default, full screen to the predator leaving nothing on the second smaller monitor?

Is there a option for something like a soft sleep? So when you power off it doesn't remove the connection with the pc so programs stay open on it?

Many thanks.

This sounds like normal behavior, when Windows sees a monitor drop off the system it closes that display, which migrates icons and such the the default display. It sounds like you have the new monitor set as default, so when it goes away the system uses the old monitor as default. When the new one comes back on line the default is changed back, and all icons that are on the default go to the new monitor. I think you'll get something a bit closer to what you want if you sleep the computer rather than sleeping the monitor.

    Howdy,

Maybe sleep is the wrong term, i've never had a monitor that does this behaviour. Whenever I turn the monitors off when i head to bed nothing changed, when i turned them on in the morning they are in the same position, they dont default or do anything random, but this new one does, and its bloody annoying.

Putting the PC to sleep is kinda pointless as the monitor remains on? My idea I want, is the pc on, monitor off.

    Any other suggestions?
