Browser does not pick up microphone using bluetooth and direct input headsets

My browser recently stopped picking up my microphone when I'm using my bluetooth or direct input headset. This issue does not present when using app based platforms (only browser) and appears using multiple browsers. No issues when not connecting a headset to the device. Has anyone experienced this issue before? I've gone through tech support for the browser based video interface however they were unable to resolve the issue and suggested I reach out to Acer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    When you have a Bluetooth or physical mic connected to the system Windows allows you to select whether that or the builtin mic is the device of choice. My guess is the browsers are just using the system default and not the new one connected. Try Sound Settings and choose the input device.
