Acer Swift sf314-54 factory reset not working

I need help.

I tried to reset my laptop but it doesn't seem to work. It keeps on restarting and says "Automatic Repair".

It was just a year ago when I bought my laptop and I thought it was normal that it's acting a bit slow whenever I turn it on. Same with opening the browsers and applications and even when shutting it down. Everything was slow and lag.

Then, all of a sudden when I went to turn on my laptop I encountered the first time it won't boot and just keeps on restarting. It kept saying Automatic Repair and factory reset won't work as well. So i brought it to the acer center and have it repaired (they formatted the laptop). I was told that there could be a problem with WiFi hardware/adapter/driver or whatever you call it. After a week or two, i then encountered my laptop's not showing the WiFi icon and couldn't find the driver as well. It went on for 3 days and tried to install a driver I downloaded at the acer website but it wouldn't work, so I ended up buying a WiFi adapter cos I was told by the one who repaired the laptop. The funny thing is, just when I bought it, all just went to normal and the WiFi finally appeared. I just wasted money for nothing.

After a month, i once again have the same problem. My laptop keeps on restarting and factory reset is useless.

Please, can someone help me what to do. My son needed the laptop for his online classes.

That's one hell of a repair they performed... they format the thing and tell you there "might" be a problem with X, but don't check out that X? Was it an official Acer service center? I'm just... out of words to be honest.

I'll help you out sorting whatever problem the laptop has, or at least giving you a remote diagnosis as best as I can.

First of all I'd like to know what is the full model number of the machine, SF314-54 identifies the series, but there are some other letters and/or numbers afterwards that identify the actual laptop, to the point that we'd know what processor it has, how much RAM, etc. For example, mine is an A515-54G-70Y9.

Then, because I don't know the state in which the laptop is, I would like to install Windows cleanly there. Not restoring the factory backup, because as you say it seems to be pointless leading to the same problem, but installing it all anew. That way at least we'd know that if something fails it is because there is a fault in the machine, not because of some program is interfering with it all.

I wrote a guide about how to do it we'll be following (more or less, we may skip some steps), it requires 2 things:
 - An USB stick we can use, that's where we'll put the Windows installation files (and drivers), an 8 GB one is enough.
 - A working PC, to download and put the files inside of that USB stick.

Is it possible for you to get those things?
