I have tried everything in this forum that I can find. New battery, new adapter, checked that the chassis switch was depressed.

Laptop just shut off a few days ago and would no longer show any indication of receiving power. I thought it was the adapter and replaced it to no avail. A new battery did not help, yes I followed all the various instructions to reset, etc.

I’m out of work and need my laptop desperately and can not afford any more expenditures. It’s only a couple of years old and has been a good machine until now. Is there anything else I can check before I give it up for good?

Did you actually find a switch? Specsheet for this model doesn't show one. I suggest re-seating every accessible ribbon cable connection after removing bottom cover. This includes a ribbon connector that may be near the power button. Jack E/NJ

The switch is very easy to find.  It’s near the panel you remove to get to the SSD.
