Windows Update, Search and Storage Service getting disabled after restart.
Hi folks,
I received my Helios 300 laptop 1 week ago and after going through the initial setup, I promptly updated my windows to 2004 version (I'm currently on OS build number 19041.423). The strange thing I noticed from the 1st day itself is that the Windows Update, Windows Search and Storage Service get disabled automatically after every time I reboot my laptop. This means that unless I go to the Services application, I'm not able to download anything from the microsoft store and indexing doesn't work properly without the search service. Windows updates also fail without them. I've changed them to start automatically but they still go back to being disabled. I've also ensured that the dependent services are running and I've checked multiple times and they are running, it's just an issue these few services. I've also tried enabling them to auto mode through the command prompt as an administrator but they always revert back to disabled state. I also tried out some registry repair tools to figure out if it's a corrupt registry but again, no solution. I've also tried disabling my antivirus and have even deleted the bundled in norton anti virus software but to no avail.
Currently, I have to manually go to the services app to enabled these services, which is a mild nuisance and I would appreciate any solution for this.
