Why My Acer monitor become dark when I open the desktop

I used two monitor on my Pc. HP works fine, but Acer monitor become dark when I open desktop. I have sent to Acer repair station. They sent back to me and said nothing wrong with monitor.
What a Joke!

    I'd have to know the model number on your monitor. Sometimes it's just a little board you swap out, sometimes it's more involved.

    OK, it looks like the backlight is powered directly off the power board, through what looks like it might be the LVDS cable, with one leg of a Y connection. The other leg goes to the main board. Here's a not very helpful bit from the service manual:
    Needless to say the "lamp power cable" is I believe the one that needs to be checked to make sure it's fully connected and not corroded. If the cable is working and power is getting through it then the display itself is the problem. If the cable is good but there's no power getting through it it's the power board. Unless you feel real comfortable opening things up I'd take it to a competent technician.
