Is it time to replace my Aspire E 15 after it won't turn on multiple times?

First, thanks to this forum, I was able to turn on my computer after doing the battery pinhole reset. That said, is it time to replace my laptop? (It has been acting up with the screen going blank and only the keyboard lighting up when I have been away from the computer for a few minutes. I would press the power key down to turn off the laptop and then restart, but it is taking more attempts to accomplish. I had more trouble restarting it yesterday after powering off the laptop and had to do the battery pinhole reset, then again a second time after I used the computer and powered off and needed to turn on the laptop again.) What can I do to improve function? Will I need to keep doing the pinhole trick, or will that stop working? Is it time to get a new laptop?

Open ControlPanel. Search 'power;. Click 'edit power plan' in left pane. Change all settings on battery and plugged in to never. Then search 'button'.  Click 'change what the power buttons do' in left pane. Change all settings on battery and plugged in to sleep. Then at the top of the screen click 'change settings that are currently unavailable'. Scroll down and uncheck the box for fast startup. Save settings and exit. Shut windows down normally. Turn machine back on. Jack E/NJ
