Internet Speed Throttled to 25Mbps on both Wifi and Ethernet

Hi all, I have an Acer Nitro AN515-54-51M5 (purchased about 7 months ago) which, as the title describes, is getting painfully slow speeds with full connection to the router on both WiFi and Ethernet (fluctuates from 4Mbps to 25Mbps max, our internet plan is for 100Mbps and have already talked to some associates). I have browsed these forums and across the web for multiple different citings of a similar issue with little to no success. I've adjusted many adapter settings to no avail, tried another router, etc. I have a stable connection but the speeds are horrific. It seems as though this is a more recent issue as I never recalled it being so bad. Any and all help is appreciated. If I am unable to resolve the issue myself, I will be sending it back to Acer. Currently I believe it to be a hardware issue as not a single other device in my house has this issue. Thanks again for any advice.

Upload is consistent, this looks like a virus or malware, as the ethernet chip and the wifi card are separate devices, it is unlikely to fail both at same time.This couldn`t be a HW issue.

I've run multiple scans of all my drives (windows defender and malwarebytes premium) and sorted through my installed programs list, so it's certainly not a virus/malware. Something that has access has to be setting throttle access via the device. Also the wifi card and ethernet are a shared device through device manager. I understand that in reality they are seperate, however the device managers only recognizes the Intel Network card.

They are not shared just listed together under network adapter category.Bluetooth and wifi are on a same card. What is the speed on cable with wifi adapter disabled (Fn + F3)? The speed listed above with the laptop on Ethernet is with the WiFi adapter off, and having it on yielded the same result. I'll take a look at the bandwidth limit setting but I believe I've checked it already. I might try to reseat the antenna as it's fairly simple, but I went into the Acer support chat and they recognized I had no dedicated Ethernet driver, apparently listed as the "Family Controller", separate from the Intel 9560. To them my specific model of laptop didn't have an Ethernet port, however this obviously isn't the case.

I did this and attempted the alternate killer/realtek drivers and utilities as well with no change. All links and downloads were from Acer's website/support. The only thing I haven't tried is a full factory reset. I've performed a network and bios reset already and I'm really averse to doing a full factory reset if at all possible.

Is this from day one or just happened recently? Is windows updated itself without letting you know? Did you try to roll back the drivers?

Happened within the last week or so, post-2004 update, but not immediately after. My windows.old folder has already been deleted, and the drivers did actually need an update which I performed manually. Perhaps I'll attempt to roll back to the previous windows version.

Rolled back the update to 1904 from 2004, and no change still. I'm hard-pressed to say this has to be some sort of 3rd Party throttling or a hardware issue. I understand that it's unlikely, but I've exhausted pretty much all of my other opportunities.
