Hi all, I have recently installed a 907 EVO Plus 500GB SSD in my i5 8400 TC-885 and wondering if anyone else has performance benchmarks to share. Mine seems below specs compared to other posted results.  Now, I know it won't make any real-world difference, but wondering if there is a hardware limitation or any other config preventing read/writes in the mid 3000's. These are my latest results using Samsung Magician:

  • I believe that the read and write rate may vary, depending on the ssd firmware version, the versions of the chipset drivers, etc. Did you run the crystaldiskmark?

I think  the reading looks fine because of the write speed which is better than what another user gets for Samsung 970 Evo in a similar system.
