Hi. My HDMI input works fine when I plug my laptop into my all-in-one for use of the screen as second display. Also works well when xBox plugged in, switching between PC and xBox using source button under monitor.
However, when I use a switchbox to try and save all the plugging and unplugging of HDMI cables (only 1 x HDMI in) the source does not register that the HDMI cable from the switcher is plugged in and remains grey. The switcher is a Techole 3 In 1 Out HDMI Switch, and shows that it has power when any of the devices are plugged into it.
Is it incompatible with my touchscreen PC, or is it just me ? :)

It ought to work, you'll still have to use the source button to swap from internal to external. How does the Techole do it's switching? I know with most KVMs they have a hotkey to moves from one input to another, I'd expect a HDMI switch to have a source button that swaps sources...

It is supposed to automatically select if only one HDMI slotted in, and has a button to select source if more than one. However, PC source selector does not allow HDMI Source to be selected when the Techole is plugged in, even with one HDMI lead.

Does the Techole work on a different system? I wonder if it's just broken...
