2 or 3 months ago I got this laptop and have really enjoyed my use with it so far. I currently have it extended to one monitor screen via hdmi and after doing some research as well as some trial and error I realized that Acer only implemented the usb type c on this line of laptops to market it better(**** you acer). I recently purchased an AUKEY docking station(model:CB-C78) to accompany all of the needs that i may have due to the fact that I am a trader and now am looking to add another extended monitor to my setup. I would like to use this docking station for those purposes but if I have to return it I have no problem with that either. I would like to ask what would be a recommended direction I go now in terms of adding another monitor?

The USB-C is a standard gen 1 port, so supports 5Gbps and the 1.5A power for devices. It doesn't support USB-C DP Video, that a gen 2 feature. I'm not familiar with the AUKEY CB-C78 but at first glance it should allow you to display on an external monitor and connect to wired Ethernet. It won't work for charging, since the 54G model needs a 65W 19V power supply, and that uses the traditional barrel connector.
