Hi all, I'm trying to find out, currently with absolutely zero success, what additional storage I can add to my Helios 300. Spec as bought is a sole 512GB NVMe SSD in one of the M.2 slots. The empty 2.5 bay will accept SATA SSDs but I have read there is a max size of 2TB. What about the empty M.2 slot? Again, I have read there is a 512GB limit and that, for some reason, it will only read/write at SATA 3 speeds?
Please could someone advise what the size limits are and if the M.2 really is hampered by SATA limits, making an NVMe purchase a waste of money.

No problem, I think it's because the SSDs capability is 5000MB/s but it's running at Read/Write speed of 1706/2350, there are restrictions on NVMe speed in laptops due to other hardware in the system, so don't expect it to function at full speed specified by the manufacturers, I am not aware of a NVMe running at SATA speeds, as an example 1706/2350 is not a SATA speed which is around 500-600MB/s.
