Hi! My problem is that the SSD is hidden from USB Live Operating Systems so I cannot install anything 'alongside' windows, or for that matter wipe out windows and go full Linux. Is there some setting in the Bios that I'm missing? Or within Win10's settings? Thanks for any answers you may have.

Hi, change SATA operation mode in BIOS to AHCI. To do that without to reinstall windows make the next boot to be in safe mode, restart and press F2 to go to BIOS, on the main tab press Ctrl+S, change the mode to AHCI and press F10 to save&exit. The laptop will boot in safe mobe and will isntall the drivers needed, after that you are good to go! Disable fast startup on Windows and fast boot in BIOS as well and secure boot.
