Monitor T232HL touch feature not working with iPad Pro

I successfully connected my new iPad Pro to the T232HL monitor but the touch screen feature does not work. It is fine when connected to a Windows 10 computer, but stops working when connected to the iPad Pro. Any tips for re-activating? Thanks group!

    I assume the USB is connected? You may need drivers for the iPad, and they might not actually exist. :(
