Nitro5 AN517-51 built-in webcam intermittently stops working

My 3 month old Nitro 5 AN517-51 built-in webcam suddenly began intermittently displaying colorful horizontal lines filling the entire picture. Mostly, it's either green/black lines or blue/black lines, but sometimes it's just a rainbow of colorful lines - making it completely unusable. To the best of my knowledge, I've not adjusted any settings or installed anything that caused this. The problem is visible in any app that uses the webcam. This is a pic from zoom, but I'm seeing the same screen in skype, hangouts, etc., I'm running Windows 10 home 64bit, bios vers is V1.05, processor is Intel i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz, 8gb memory, a kingston ssd drive, Graphics device 1 is Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, Graphics device 2 is Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630. The device driver is listed as Camera HD User Facing Microsoft driver 10.0.18362.815 from 6/21/2006. What could be wrong?

Either the driver failed or the webcam, you can check first by unistalling the driver reboot and let Win. to install it again.

Thank you for the prompt reply! By any chance, is there another driver besides the Camera HD User Facing Microsoft driver ? I've uninstalled this driver already and it did not fix the problem. I guess this one confuses me a bit, as the properties describe the driver as a USB Video device, but it's an internal device. Just curious.
