I had just bought 2 new sticks of ram for my laptop and had installed them. I turned it on for the first time after I installed them. It turns on and I checked to see if it recongnized that i had 16 GB of ram. It did not so I shut it down and pop the back open to make sure they were in tight. They were. The next time I turn it on I was going to go to the original start up and see if it recognized it there. But when I try to turn it on nothing happen. I try again and still nothing. Nothing turned on. Not even the keyboard lights. I have no idea what's wrong. I even tried putting in the old RAM and it still wouldn't turn on. Any idea what's wrong?

It has been resolved. During the installation the connection from the motherboard to the battery was loosened, therefore it was unable to power on.
