MSI Afterburner Limiter No Power, No Load GPU

So I'm new to tinkering, started really playing around after my computer had an issue with overheating. I made a post about it and it seems my computer is running fine again. However a piece of me keeps thinking it's still having problems, especially whenever I see an occasional lag spike in game. I'm learning about Afterburner's features and turned on the on screen display for Resident Evil 2 and noticed it's saying my GPU is not getting enough power. However the game is working perfectly fine on recommended settings with clock speed of 1700 on the GTX 1080, 90 FPS, and temperatures around 80° without undervolting. I'm surprised at the no load warning when it's taking up 99-100% of the GPU.

I'm wondering if I really am having a power issue and my computer could be performing better? I even bought a new brick power source for it after the incident that first caused me problems. Back then what occurred is the computer kept beeping and switching between plugged and unplugged settings despite being plugged in the whole time. This sort of thing happened often for a few minutes and go away by itself, but then one day after a full day of hardcore gaming and overheating it kept doing the

beeping until the next day and then finally stopped and never happened again. The warranty already expired so I'm wondering if there is an issue and how do I fix it, or is it just an error on Afterburner's end and all the stats seem to be fine?

Whoops, it's the GTX 1060 that I have, not the 1080. Also one thing I find odd is in RE2 the graphics recommended for me is less than half of what the max GB it says I have is, and if I turn it up to near that limit I do notice visual problems here and there but temperature doesn't go up and FPS just lowers to 75. Also the weirdest thing I'm seeing in HWinfo is that my battery is at 43% wear, when just the other day when I checked it was at 15%.

I noticed another post saying that battery wears a lot if you game unplugged. Just the other day, I took my laptop over to my cousin to show him a game real quick, it said battery would only last 1 hour, but it gave me the low power warning of 10% left after about just 15 minutes. Could have doing this just once really have brought down the wear from 15% to 43%? The life of the laptop has always been horrendous, is there no upgraded battery for this laptop? Definitely not a good choice to take to college classes.

Been trying out several games with Afterburner up and reading up about these lim warnings. It looks like for the most part it's fine, and is just a limit placed by the bios as a safety measure. In afterburner I can't adjust the power limit or temperature limit even after following a guide for unlocking those options, although I was able to unlock the first core voltage option. I'm wondering is it possible to change the power limit % on the GTX 1060 mobile? Right now I was trying out Blade and Soul and that's the only lim warning I've been getting, and sometimes while playing it'll dip from 90-120 fps depending on area I'm in to 25 fps for a second during skill activation in combat, creating huge lag spikes. I'd like to get rid of this lim: voltage/power warning in games.
