sticky keyboard

I have a ACER CB5-312T-K7SP chromebook, theere was cola spilled on the keyboard. is there a posibility to replace/repair it?

    Yes, the keyboard and upper case are one part and there are 31 different versions to handle all the language specific layouts. It would likely be much cheaper to get it cleaned than to replace it, but that doesn't mean it's going to be cheap. Typically you disassemble everything in that case half and wash gently in water until the contaminants are completely gone, then dry is thoroughly (a couple of days drying in a non-humid environment is usually enough) before reassembly. Sometimes it can go through a dishwasher, but you'd want to be sure it doesn't get too hot and you don't use soap. I had a customer who washed his external keyboard and all the letter markings washed off because his soap was too efficient. :)

    As long as you haven't damaged any of the electronics by trying to power it back up after the spill any good technician can open it up and clean everything well enough to remove any risk of failure. If you have tried to power it up there's a chance that damage hasn't happened and the same thing applies. If you have tried to power it up and the cola has shorted out components then the fix will probably involve a new motherboard and possibly other components as well. In that instance it is likely cheaper to replace than repair. :(

    hi thanks for the answer, there is no damage done, the only issue is that the keys are sticky and i want to know if that part is replacable
