Acer Predator (XB273) Trouble with Display Settings

I recently bought an Acer Predator (XB273) monitor. It is my first time purchasing a monitor (upgrade from a 50inch tv) for my xbox one s gaming. When I first plugged in the monitor to my xbox one s through hdmi it looked fine but once I load into a game the quality is awful and colors look faded/washed. I messed with display settings, color, brightness ect. on the monitor to fix one game then I load into another game and the quality/display settings change again My xbox home screen looks really good but not my games. I've tried looking everywhere online but people mostly use this monitor for PC, I'm using it for my xbox one s.
- side note; sometimes when I start a game it will black screen for 5 seconds and then auto change the display settings. Thanks for any helo in advance, I've been at this days with 0 knowledge on monitors.

Pretty sure it's auto switching display settings through xbox. Make sure your display resolution and Hertz match on monitor to xbox also run rgb full on xbox abs make sure black levels on monitor is set to normal
