Why does ACER sell product in South Korea on military posts, when they can't honor the warranty?

Bought an ACER laptop in South Korea on a military post, having issues, they can't honor APO addresses. Why are they allowed to sell when they can't honor their own warranty?

Yes I have contacted support and they said tough "stuff". Mail it to someone else then home. Yeah that doesn't work because in South Korea you can't mail laptops.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but this issue seems in the sketchy area of legality. Can't even honor their own Warranty.

EDIT: Yes it's a Predator Helios 300 Laptop.

TheTrueJD im very sorry youre having issues with your unit warranty unfortunately the acer community its not an acer direct support channel in any way we are just normal users just like you that are here only voluntarily to help to troubleshoot any issues that might arise the best way we can we are not acer employees acer staff only manages the community they do not provide direct support and will only intervene in extreme situations my best advice here its for you to contact acer support directly and sort out the issues with them they are the only ones that can help you regarding your issue the warranty policies are different from country to country not all countries have the same policies there are many different ones good luck stay safe :)

I am very sorry to hear the issues you're experiencing with getting your unit to repair, unfortunately, the Acer community is not a direct portal to Customer service, the Acer Forum Discussions were designed as a peer to peer support community where Acer users help other Acer users. Many Acer employees (Moderators), read the various topics posted here and you will notice that some Acer employees interact with members when appropriate, primarily we want the community to be a place where members can exchange their own advice and ideas.

I recommend you to contact your local Acer support channels for better assistance as xapim recommended: https://www.acer.com/ac/ko/KR/content/contacts

Note: Please keep in mind that Acer does not mail to any mail forwarding service,PO BOX or APO addresses, you must have a physical mailing address for return package purposes. This thread will be now closed.

    Thanks,
    Acer-Manny
