Here is a list of things I have tried:

  1. Updated I/O drivers
  2. Updated BIOS
  3. Updated Windows
When I change it to "Basic Mode" it works fine, but does not respond at all when I switch to "Advance" mode. It used to work in Advance mode, it stopped suddenly I don't recall if it was after a Windows update or not but I think it was.
I am once again mentioning that it works fine in Basic mode, just stops working in "Advance" mode and it used to work before.
Ask anything if needed. Thankyou.

  • Hi! Try these tips:
    a) access the bios and then press f9 to restore it and then press f10 save and exit or click save and shut down, if there is this option. Then try to reset the battery:
    b) Also try pressing the fn + f7 and f7 keys only, to check if you enable the touchpad.
