busu3 you can open the laptop as many times as you want as long as its carefully and not damaging anything just play some properly optimised games for the thermal paste to settle and keep monitoring your temps :)

busu3 remove what exactly ? the hdd its easy to remove probably the easiest part of all the laptop and the sata connector to the hdd its not taped on the hdd side u just need to unplug it and thats it in facy you should always remove hdd/ram before you open the chassis on any laptop either old or new some older even need to have the wifi adapter also removed

No I didnt mean that. The connector is tightly connected to the HDD. There is a thick tape like thing which runs from back of connnector. When I pull the hdd, I loosen the connector by moving the hdd sideways but am afraid that would damage the pins or something. So I was asking if there is an easier way to disconnect hdd.

Ok but that way it was very tight so I took it out then loosened the connector by lifting on either side. Regarding the paste, the image I sent last gave temperatures of 95+ on both CPU and GPU. So I opened it again, for the 4th time, the used the X-method(I think I didnt get the spread correctly) then closed it back. Now temps go to 80 max on CPU and 75 max on GPU while gaming at 60 fps. But if I set it more than 60 fps its still pretty bad. In AIDA64 stress test CPU still goes to 95-98, GPU settles at about 80. In the future once all this quarantine ends ill buy kryonaut.

busu3 stress test doesnt mean much temp wise as youre getting the cpu/gpu at 100% usage at all times that will never happen in real life unless on a really badly optimised game for ex cod its one of those u also have rust and many others the devs do not care on optimising at all and as i already stated you need to test it gaming thats whats matters and if youre temps are 80/75 youre fine i finally did it :)
