How can I remove an array I made using Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) from my G9-793-775G?

First of all, I've checked the various threads on this topic already and I'm hoping to avoid spending hours unnecessarily trying every proposed method when some don't seem to work.
If a 100% successful solution exists for my model I'd really appreciate if someone could tell me.
Another option is that I could buy a new hdd or sdd (or both if need be), would that fix the issue?
if there's anymore relevant info you need I'm happy to provide it.

edit: I've already deleted all my data so there is no need to try and save anything.

Hi,
I have removed the RAID array by backing up the image to an external hard drive, then removed the HDD, recovered the image on to the M.2 SSD, but you can not change the RAID mode in BIOS.

Elthornado either the way brummyfan2 suggested above or backup whatever you need from the os drive into another remove the hdd then perform a stock recovery clean install ALT+F10 on boot and select delete everything option (assuming your acer stock recovery partition its still intact) after windows installed on the ssd only uninstall the intel rst (its useless if you dont want to create raid 0 array for that u need 2 drives same type/size) for this not to happen again then shutdown and insert the hdd again should be there normally as usual either way good luck
