Is undervoting good?

I have a predator Helios 300 I5 9th gen with 1660ti graphics .my laptop Is absolutely a beast its not getting any throttling even at high temps but am concerned about my laps long life and I installed throttle stop and did the factory -125 undervolt and turned on the speed shift now its like CPU upto 70 max and system upto 68 . now its not heating up my CPU but I can play it really well.without any frame drop and every game is 100+ fps now. Is there anything wrong with what I did or is it bad to undervolt help me please . before I undervolted my cpu shooted up to like 93 when playing big titles and I was scared about its long life. If anyone can help me. With how to undervolt please help and tell me if undervolting is bad
