Hello guyz!
Do any of you have screen bleeding issue like this(https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-eo81xfNfNuISuz7_7u2sxvtVT_8UvdY/view?usp=sharing) on your Acer Aspire 7 ?
Close all the lights in the room and put the screen on full brightness then open some black video from youtube.

Please let me know as soon as possible. I have only 1 day left for replacement request. If it's normal and the bleeding increases in the future so does this thing comes under warranty ?

Yeah, that's pretty bad, and it shows as well when watching things; I'd request a replacement :s

Depending on the camera it could look better or worse to the naked eye, I've found some not to be able to capture the full detail of how it looks (read: it is worse), I hope yours is not one of those.

If you needed to provide proof over email or something, those pictures ought to be enough to explain what the problem is to an aftersales person.

Thanks for the suggestion, will send a replacement request and see what happens.

I can't really discern the bleeding because of the movie, because encodings are lossy blacks aren't really blacks. Could you post a screenshot of this (fullscreen) for example?

That being said, my screen (different model, different year) did have some bleeding in various places. Lack of QA or low standards (I would expect new machines to be immaculate), but it's not too bad and it doesn't affect me when watching dark media fullscreen so I went with it.

I just wish they had different assembly procedures because it happens to many machines. Some like mine, in which the panel is only hold by the bezels, can be distinctively damaged is uniform pressure isn't applied all around the bezel when mounting the panel.

For all the above images the brightness was full.

For the below image the brightness was low
