Did you try undervolting? Also you should not be concerned about the temperatures unless you experience stuttering or frame drops and temps are over 95 degrees C constant. Don't worry, it's completely normal! Laptop CPUs are designed to survive heat without taking damage. If you seriously don't like those high temps, undervolt using XTU as stated in my previous message. 85-90 degrees C is normal for Nitro laptops and most gaming laptops. Enjoy gaming! Also please mark this post as answer if i fixed your issue. Thank you and have a great day!

Install Nitrosense and select max fans while gaming for low temperatures. It is normal for laptops to cross 90 C, you should only be concerned if it gets over 95 and sits there. For now, use Nitrosense to increase fan speed and to lower temperatures. Here: https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Application/Nitro Sense/Nitro Sense_Acer_3.01.3001_W10x64_A.zip?acerid=636872597683954270&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=NITRO&Step3=NITRO AN515-42&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6
You can also undervolt and it will not decrease your performance at all, i will help you with undervolting if you can't lower the temperatures with Nitrosense.

I am not one to judge if you should return it or not! It is all your personal preference, if it doesnt suit you, you can. But first you can try a cooling pad or just try undervolting your Intel CPU. It wont void the warranty, don't worry. Download Intel Extreme Tuning Utility here:https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/66427/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU-
As soon as you completed the installation, start up the app and click on "Core". You may notice that there are many sliders. Don't worry, it's really simple! Move "Core Voltage Offset" slider to -0.130V or . You can start with this value and click Apply. Try gaming and see if your temperatures decreased. It really should run cooler after a undervolt!

Without the charged plugged in the CPU temp is around 65 but when I plug in the charge and game the temp rises to 90 for CPU but for gpu just 70 and that's fine for GPU I am worried about CPU .

@MihaiEVO dont you know that 10th gen CPUs cannot undervolt? I have the same issue with overheating and what can we do other than undervolting?

@gigishan I would recommend a Thermo paste change ....go for thermal grizzly kryonut...as it has very good reviews....I too have the thermal problem and the service person recommended me to do so....just a suggestion....also make sure if the laptop is old, clean the fans and air vents .....I don't know much about undervolting so I didn't try doing that...but I'll soon get the thermal grizzly .....it can easily get ur temps to 85⁰ C.....hope this helps

If the problem is still persistent then I would recommend resetting your laptop as alot of junk can get installed without our knowledge and that could cause the cpu to heat.....make sure you use your laptop on a flat and hard surface and in a good air conditioned room as it can help you greatly.....added tip invest in a cooling pad to help you as I have seen this tip in almost all the heating problem related to laptops ...hope it helps
