Charging stops at 100% charge and continue at 99% charge

This isn't that big problem after all but in gaming it is big difference because when gaming laptop isn't plugged in performance will decrease. My laptop Helios 300 G3 572 was working copletely fine but one day I heard beep sound over and over and my brightness decreased every 10 seconds too and then I found out that my pc automatically stops charging when it's on 100% charge so when I want to play games I need to discharge battery. I know a lot of people have this same problem I tried everything but nothing works like there is no solution I tried battery reset, bio update, windows restar but nothing works. Please help if you know how to fix this

Can you send a screen capture of the hwinfo64 program's smartbattery guide showing battery wear? Also, have you tried to calibrate the battery?

I didn't calibrate my battery and I don't know how to do that

@Leviox you should calibrate your battery every 3/6 months depending on the use let it discharge completely and recharge it to full repeat 3 times or more if needed if it doesnt improve the wear percentage after calibrated that means the cells are starting to die/wear nothing can be done will only get worse in time the wear will increase until it wont hold enough power to charge to full anymore i have from 11 to 14% wear on mine and its always on AC 24/7 non stop since i bought it 2+ years ago only use it for remote access

Well I calibrated the battery but the problem stil ocure. I charged it to 100% (I mean 99% because if i have 100% my pc will stop charging and battery will drop to 99%) then I let it discharge and let it shut down then I let my pc rest for 4 hours then I started charging again and turned on pc and charged to 99% again.

Leviox yeah that what i thought incorrect battery wear detected at that percentage its dead replacing it its the only way to go just accept the answer(s) that helped you to solve it to mark this tread as solved
