can't disable jack detection Aspire A515-51g

The sensor to my headphone Jack stopped working, supposedly there is a option to disable jack detection on the hd audio manager but my version seems to not have said option.
I've tried a LOT of solutions to this problem, including installing many different versions of Realtek drivers, messing with the registry editor, and installing the Realtek audio console, the realtek audio console had the same issue as the hd audio manager.

is there anything I can do to fix this?

It is highly unlikely that the sensor stopped working.

What is more likely is that you had a small configuration problem, which turned into a major problem because you tried to mess with the registry.

Each computer model has a different realtek hardware id. These different realtek hardware id's are listed in the driver inf file. It allows computer manufacturers to pay for features on a model by model basis --- some have dolby, some have dts...

Your acer laptop never has that feature enabled from the beginning with the old realtek hd audio manager and it will never have that feature with the new realtek audio console.

I''ve managed to access the advanced options by getting the 6.0.1.7385 version of Realtek hd audio on Microsoft Update Catalog and updating my drivers with it. 
It's not a good solution, but it works, I'd be interested to Know if anyone made it work some other way.
