    Hi @Joesia

This model has a USB Type C port that supports Display port over USB C.

So I just need this adapter to connect to my other monitor?

No, the StarTech is HDMI over USB-C, not DisplayPort over USB-C

Hi, I managed to buy the below adapter and make my 3rd monitor work via hdmi->usb-c.

My problem right now is, every time I shutdown or reboot my laptop, I have to unplug and then re-plug again the USB-C into the laptop order to make the 3rd monitor work. Is there another way to go about it?

Yeah, it looks like that one acts like a dock and generates the HDMI for you. I'm guessing the one or more of the drivers it uses are set to turn off to save energy. If you can figure out which it is you can change it's preferences to stay on when sleeping. It should fire up when waking after a bit, but it's often a fairly long bit...

I UNCHECKED all the USB controller drivers in the Device Manager, still did not work. Sorry... need to correct my post above, Shutdown and Hibernate did not, but REBOOT has been working ever since (even without changing drivers settings).

There should be drivers for the dock and for the ports on the dock, in addition to the USB port. Check them as well.
