Hi,

I figured that since I have the time I really should register all my products. Today it is time for Acer (:

I have always had acer computer products, but never registered them, at the moemnt I have two laptops, one I use every day and one old one I dusted off to have my son use for his online schoolwork. It's still a mean machine; Acer Aspire 8930G (:

I registered my own, but somehow not that one, Acer cannot recognise the SNID. I have tried to get to support, chat is switched off en emailpage is an error ):

Hope someone at Acer or someone else is on here  with a solution, tx a bundle

Registrations usually must be done during the one-year warranty period or the serial number id will no longer be recognized. Jack E/NJ

Even if the machine was originally registered during the warranty period, the registration would be virtually useless to you after the machine's warranty period expired. What were you expecting from the registration after the warranty expired? A recall notice perhaps? Trade-in allowance?
