Solution to black screens and unresponsive keyboard?

I've had an Acer Swift 3 for almost a year now, never really had any serious issues except for an occasional black screen. But recently, I've been getting concerned as now every time my laptop goes into hibernation or I attempt to shut it off I get a black screen, the display light is still on, and when I'm trying to shut it off it has either taken MUCH longer than usual or it never shuts off and stays on with the back screen. Along with that issue, my keyboard doesn't work so I can't initiate a forced shutdown by holding the power button. There have been times now when my computer boots Up Normally and the keyboard either stops working as soon as I log in or it wasn't working at all, not even the power button works. This is also happening  when the laptop is running fine then I purposely or accidentally activate sleep after that the keyboard won't work. So far the only solution to any of these problems has been to perform a hard battery reset by sticking something into the hole on the bottom of my laptop but I am getting concerned since these issues have been occurring almost on a regular basis now. Any reasonings as to what is causing this and what else can I do to stop them from occurring?

  • Can you provide the exact model? Example SF315-51-58VH. Did these problems arise after upgrading windows to version 2004?

    The device name is: Swift SF315-52G. the first time I had to do the hard reset through the little hole was about two weeks ago when my laptop wouldn't turn off and had the black screen. I only installed the 2004 update about a week after that and before that I was having the problems I described, they happened even as the laptop was restarting after the update(which still got completed). So I don't think the update had anything to do as these issues were happening before I installed the update.
  • Does the same problem occur when you update drivers on the intel and nvidia websites? Also, have you disabled fast startup in the power options, to see if it solves the problem?
