Acer Swift 3 plugged in but not charging

I own a Acer Swift SF314-54 series which is barely 1 year and 5 months old. Yesterday night I plugged in it and shut the lid and slept off (I did not shut it down). Generally in such case the light glows blue when the charging in complete and I unplug it in the morning. Today when I woke up there was no light on the charging LED (Niether orange not blue). I opened the laptop and saw it says plugged in but and available 91 percent. Shut it down and plugged in the charger. I battery would charge for 20-25 seconds and then the orange light would go off each time. Turned on the laptop again and started connecting the adapter. Now a weird thing would happen, as soon as I connect it the orange light glows for a second, the laptop beeps then the light goes off. Tried resetting the battery with a paper clip. First time it worked for a while and went back to the same problem but tried resetting it arcing time now it seem to work normally and battery is charging. What could be the issue? Anyone else faced such an issue? This is the first time in 18 months I faced this issue.

No I didn't. It's working fine now. But strange problem. I got the major windows update a couple of days back. Could be related to something?

Yes, it is possible. Windows updates always bring some bad surprises. Battery wear is now at 16.4%. I suggest you try to calibrate the battery.

Ughh. The problem again happened today. I shut of my laptop at 59% and left it charge overnight. In the morning I didn't see the orange/blue light glowing. Turned on the laptop and shows only have charged till 94% while turned off. Replugged the charger worked fine and charged after 100%. Charging LED turned blue.

Check the wear level again today. It's 17.8%. Is my battery wearing out too fast?

Are you sure that the notebook is actually shutting down and not hibernating or suspending?

Yes sure it's not hibernating. Whereas the problem happens irrespective of it is shut off or hibernating.

But is an 1 % battery wear in a span of 4 days isn't abnormal?

Battery wear and tear can vary widely. How long have you owned the notebook?

Okay so I observed the problem for many days now and has reached the conclusion.

The laptop would charge till 92-95% and stop charging(yellow light goes off) until and plug it back again shutting it off only then it would charge to 100% (Yello light turns blue).

I tried calibrating the battery by draining it completely but it stopped charging when it reached 92%.

I think I'll call the manufacturer and ask for a solution. It's under extended warranty.
