Not able to enter SN/SNID in the self service tab

    Dpk your snid its on acer care center just open it and you have it there SNID and serial you also have it in the sticker under the laptop and u can also get it with the detection tool

    founded SN/SNID isn't accepted by the service tab

    only 26 characters can be entered in the tab,but SN/SNID has a total of 33 character.

    @Dpk snid its 11 char only and serial 22 char u either enter one or the other not both  =)

    I have this issue too.  If I only enter the SN or SNID, it gives me a pop up showing where to find the #'s and won't let me advance through the Self-Service portal.  The space will not accept both #'s at the same time either.

    Zuke contact acer support  directly with your issue bare in mind  the customer self service doesnt work in all countries the serial'/snid not recognized its mainly US/CA serials as far as im aware so any issues its alwasy better to contact acer from your own country directly as there are  independent support divisions for each country

    Thanks for the quick response and help!  I figured out it lets you advance if you hit the magnifying glass instead of <Enter>.  Not very intuitive...
