I've been having this issue for the past few hours now. At first the screen would just go black so I kept restarting it and after a while when it finally booted up I got this. Just some added information, I have a helios 300 which I bought last year and use almost everyday, I havent had any issue so far.

This looks like a gpu failure, but first try with external monitor and check if you have the same issues after that boot in safe mode and reinstall the gpu dirvers.

Unfortunately I do not think it has a battery reset button at the back

I did boot my laptop in safe mode but unfortunately I do not have a LAN connection available so I wouldn't be able to reinstall my nvidia drivers after uninstalling them

Turns out it was a display adapter fault. Had to uninstall it in safe mode and then restart my laptop for it to work. Thanks for the help though!

Turn off the notebook, disconnect the power adapter and press the power button for 12 seconds.

@Hashir all 2017/18 predator/nitro laptops have the battery pinhole you have it as yours its a 2018 model (disconnect from AC press hold for 30+s leave it to rest for 2/3h try to boot into bios and reset setup to defaults use DDU to uninstall the gpu drivers and reinstall)  but i would try the suggestion above use a external display artifacts are usually hardware failure hope not also make sure windows havent updated recently and the issue was not created by an update if so roll back  and only accept answers as solved it your issue was really solved otherwise everyone will see what u accepted as solved  good luck

My bad, I might have provided the incorrect model number because my laptop is a 2019 model not a 2018 one. Anyways, the issue was with the display driver and I had to boot in safe mode and reinstall it. Seems to be working fine for now. I will try this method if this issue occurs in the future again. Thanks for your help!

    Hey guys,
I solved the glitched screen issue earlier by uninstalling and reinstalling the display drivers and that seemed to work for a while but it happened yet again. I restarted my laptop and now its showing me this. I tried looking it up and booted in safe mode but could not solve the issue. My laptop starts up fine and the moment the lock screen loads up I get the glitch and it restarts itself. This keeps happening repeatedly.
    Would really appreciate some help.
