I just got an R241Y monitor and need to use it vertically.  Is there any type of vertical stand I can use? I really don't want to mount it on the wall.  Thank you.

I do not believe there is support for mounting this monitor vertically. There aren't VESA mount points so you can't use a third party mount to rotate it.

Thanks billsey. That's what I was afraid of. Very frustrating. Acer's specs says it has vertical viewing. But, if there's no stand and it can't be mounted, then there's really no way to use it vertically. (Grrr!)

The only thing I could see in the specs was the vertical viewing angle, which defines where your eyes can be in relation to the monitor in order to still see the image. That's a bunch different than being able to rotate it to a portrait orientation. Next time look for the "Portrait" keyword...
