I was playing a game when my laptop suddenly shut off and wouldn't start. I've tried doing a battery reset using the battery pin and also by disconnecting the battery and pressing the power button but it didn't work. I also checked my motherboard but didn't see anything that seemed burned. Also, there's no light when my adapter is connected.
I bought my laptop in 2017, so I don't think I have a warranty.

Chik3r your warranty its definitely out if you had high temps could most probably be a mobo failure in the worst case especially if you never optimized windows undervolted neither repasted it before gaming laptops should be repasted once per year with a good thermal paste like kryonaut or similar for those who are able to without voiding the warranty or already out i suggest you perform the battery powerdrain disconnect the battery remove the rtc battery and leave it for a few hours to completely drain all capacitors the try again if nothing i would assume its a hardware issue unfortunately anyway good luck
