Last year on September 2019, i just bought an Acer Swift 3 SF314-56G. Back then i was clueless about choosing a laptop and i just made my decision just by its casing and having no idea of its specifications. Then, i stumbled open a video on YT about using your laptop to make a desktop PC which just using a monitor. Im intrigued by this idea and also i have a spare monitor in my home which i haven't use it in a while. So, because of this i began to search the requirements for this set-up and in order to make it work you need a Thunderbolt 3 Port which this model doesn't have. Then found a discussion about the same question that i have and it show me an excel documents as seen below.

As the chart have not list the Swift series (Is the 56 and 56G is the same btw? ) that i have, so i resort to here. So my question is does this series (SF314-56G) can support a Display Output from the USB-C and maybe can be use to charge the laptop? and if it doesn't can i use a USB-C docking station?

In the service manual, it only shows that it is a second generation USB 3.1 port. This link also does not show that it supports DP and Power Delivery: https://us.v-cdn.net/6029997/uploads/editor/98/m1rr005x6e6c.xlsx

No need for a Thunderbolt port or DP over USB-C. You have an HDMI port. Just use that to drive the external monitor. Your chart (do you have a link for that?) says you can charge over USB-C, 45W at 20V, so you would need to make sure that if you wanted to charge over that port instead of using the stock charger you need one that outputs at least those specs. There might be an issue there though since I believe the stock charger is 65W, not 45W, which means under heavy loads you'd still slightly lose charge.
