Hey, i have been recently wanting to upgrade my laptops by putting an SSD, i have an A715-71G-57A2 Aspire 7 but i need a bit of help, if possible can i get some sort disassembly guide, maybe in the form of a PDF or a video if possible, it also wouldn't be too bad if it had step by step to install the SSD, just because i am scared of destroying anything in my laptop, also may i know if https://www.noon.com/saudi-en/internal-laptop-ssd-hard-drive-240gb-blue/N20875001A/p?o=c9b73be1637ec57e this SSD would work, as far as i checked online it should but i wanted to make sure, Thank you in advance

You must first remove the base cover. Remove HDD & RAM doors. Best to unscrew and lift out the HDD. Also remove RAM modules.  Then remove 17 screws around the periphery of the base cover and split it away from the top cover. The m.2 SSD socket is located near the hinge where the screen cable is connector. The SSD card is slipped into the socket and held down with one screw into the mainboad. General instruction video for installing an m.2 is shown in this link. https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/61148 Good luck. Jack E/NJ

If you want to use the storage bay in the link I gave you, you do not have to do all the things that JackE is saying

I think the OP wants to add a secondary drive from the m.2 SSD link posted.  Maybe not? Jack E/NJ
