Hello,
I was using my laptop normally, browsing on chrome. Suddenly the screen went black and power LED was glowing at the time. I thought maybe the battery got discharged. So I kept the laptop on charging and tried restarting the laptop, but now even the LED's stopped working.
The laptop was dead. I called the acer customer care, on which they suggested to click the reset button on the back of laptop, which I tried and still it didn't work.
Then I went to an authorized Centre for repairing in Vellore, where they told me
The Motherboard is gone!!!
I didn't do any heavy gaming or use any heavy softwares.
Now since my warranty period expired a month ago. The Acer customer care refused for any sort of help and asked to get to any local laptop repair shop.
It's been more than 6 months now and still my laptop didn't get any sort of assistance. Locally I asked the price for the similar motherboard (using serial no.) .
They are telling the price to be around
35K-40K. The cost of my whole laptop is
55K and I'm asked to pay a hefty amount of 40K. Is this some kind of joke going??
- Is this the built quality of Acer ?
- The acer customer care seems non-cooperative.
- They act as if they don't care at all.
- I need a solution from the technical team of Acer Support.
- Now after investigating I heard from many others the "THE CAREFREE NATURE OF ACER SUPPORT" ,"THE BUILD QUALITY OF ACER PREDATOR IS VERY POOR", "There is issue with helios 300 motherboard".
I need the acer support team to look into the matter gravely and take action to help their customers as soon as possible!!
