Hello, recently I've tried to colour calibrate my monitor using X Rite Iprofiler. After calibrating it looked really good but everytime I shut down my PC and the monitor goes to power saving mode, the burn in screen appears and colours start flashing.

ive tried to switch it off but only comes back the next time I reboot....

can anyone help me on this? Thanks so much in advance

I had an issue similar to this today on my newer XB253Q GX. After doing some research and seeing that there are MANY threads on Acer's forums about various monitors having this same issue, I am beginning to wonder if this is just a typical Acer issue. Do a quick search for "image retention" on the Acer forums and you will see what I did. It is very concerning. I have never seen anything like this in the 20 years that I have been building computers. Not a good look for Acer.
