hi there, i have just recently purchased an acer nitro 50-600 intel core i3, GTX 1650. I know i am already looking to upgrade both the intel core and the graphics card, just wondering if it can be done and if it easy enough. Struggling to find any tutorials online, thats why i ask. Thank you

You can use any graphics card that will fit and your power supply can support. You have a 300w power supply. You might want to upgrade your power supply to a 650w.
    Processors that will work.

With the CPU and if you want more performance from an upgrade of your i3 cpu? Then you can only upgrade the Acer Nitro N50-600C OEM CPU of either the i3 or the i5 to the following "Coffee Lake" socket 1151 to the following Intel i7's cpu's, these upgrades have been proven and are recommended:

    1. i7-8700 which is 100% upgradable.
    2. i7-8700K which is 97% upgradable.
    3. i7-8700T that is 95% upgradable.

    Note:
The 8th Gen Intel i3-i5 or i7 cpu's (i3-i5-i7-8xxx) of the Acer Nitro N50-600c can't be upgraded to any i3-i5 or i7 Intel 9th Gen "Coffee Lake" socket 1151 of prefix i3-i5 or i7-9xxx cpu's, they are not compatible with the mainboard and won't work!

With the GPU and if you upgrade to a higher spec cpu like the i7-8700T (6 cores, 12 threads, 2.4 GHz to 4 GHz, L2 cache 1.5MB, L3 cache 12MB and 35W TPD, btw, this cpu is about US $240.00 second hand on ebay. I would also recommend that you upgrade the ram as the Nitro N50-660C can take a max mem of 64GB and it has 4x slots for the ram and comes with  very poor standard mem of 8GB DDR4 SDRAM removable. I would suggest (depends on your budget?) to upgrade the ram to at least 32GB as you would only need 3x 8GB ram (same spec as your OEM ram, see CPUz "SPD Slot#1" section for these specs) or if you want to turn this PC into a really good gaming PC? Upgrade the ram to 64GB, 4x 16GB DDR4-3600 (DDR4 PC4-24000-15-16-16) which is the max speed ram that the Nitro N50-600C can take, its up to you as there are allot of options.

The most sensible and up to date upgrade for your OEM GTX 1650 should be to upgraded to the newest RTX 2060 (which is based on NVIDIA's latest Turing architecture, as well as having more CUDA cores and memory bandwidth) or even to the upper spec RTX 2080 type GPU's (depends on your budget?) but and in doing all this, you would need to check if your power supply is adequate enough and it will handle a higher power consuming gpu, simple, as all these upgrade components are not cheap but and if you can get these components second hand it could be worth it? Good luck.
