hi so basically i have updated my bios from 1.16 to 1.17 and have started to experience slow boot times and performance, presumably from ram and HDD *HDD also defragged* shown from task manager (https://gyazo.com/8a6cb7ac3fdfe4d1c6710103225faab2). i have even tried downgrading back to 1.16 but to no avail

this is my userbenchmark before the bios update, https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/29114739

and this is after, https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/29188382

these were both overclocked via drivers and both runs had the same fan speed from nitrosense + coolboost

thank you in advance

Your test results are impacted from the windows backgroud usage and this have nothing to do with the BIOS update. And what about Windows update was  this done recently?

I haven't noticed it but there was high usage in Bitdefender for some reason and I ended the task and it turned back to normal with the exception of the HDD. I still don't know why my HDD is underperforming if you fill your HDD halfway does it slow it significantly? Thank you once more

Yes, as much fuller it gets as much slower it becames and this is valid for the ssd as well.
