Who makes the best replacement battery for my Chromebook 15. I don't want to end up with one that will blow up after 2 months use.

    I would say Acer. Here's the part number  KT.00304.004 I found several listings here, maybe you can find one where you are.
    Otherwise, you're in the same boat as the rest of us when we need a battery that the MFR doesn't sell anymore.
    I look at if they have a warranty and read the reviews if available.

    Found what I think I need at Dr. Battery via Walmart. $39.99. Cross your fingers, I love my old Chromebook. Thank you for your advice.
