USB Boot (UEFI) and Acer Aspire A515-55 (need to boot Linux LiveCD's from time to time)

I've been trying everything and looked through all the previous posts, I'm unable boot from an UEFI formatted USB no matter what I do. I understand this laptop does not have legacy bios boot support. I am able to get USB recognized by the UEFI boot selector (F12) but they all fail to boot. Even a Windows 10 recovery USB stick gives a failure but will eventually boot. The failure I get is as follows "An unexpected error has occured" Error Code 0xc0000017 and/or 0xc0000bd.

Technical support says there is a way to do it but due to warranty purposes they can't tell me.

1)How did you create bootable usb?
2)did you try anything to boot in usb?

I've tried just about everything under the sun, rufus, diskpart ..., I can often get the laptop to recognize the USB for boot but not been able to get it to fully boot.

In rufus, did you select partition scheme in gpt?
(MBR→support legacy mode
GPT→UEFI MODE)

If not then format your USB, create bootable usb through rufus in partition GPT.
After creating, boot in bios then
1)disable secure boot(you may need to set supervisor password to enable that option)
2)Enable F12 boot menu
Then save and exit, system will restart turn off again.
Now, insert your usb→turn on your laptop and keep pressing F12 key you will boot in USB

Yup tried GPT/UEFI Mode, recognized but still does not boot get the blue screen error. I did just find a Centos 7 image that I was able to get working, so may try to build off of that...

May be your bootable usb os files are corrupted.
Did you my steps, changing some bios settings?

USB Sticks all boot off other computers, the only BIOS settings I can change are Secure Boot on or off, and whether F12 will bring up boot menu.

Boot in bios then
→Disable(turn off) secure boot(set supervisor password if option is grey out)
→Enable F12 boot menu
Save and exit
Turn off your laptop now, insert your usb→turn on your laptop then keep pressing F12 key you will boot in usb
