I just woke up one day and wanted to use my pc. The monitor shows that there is no signal I check and the vga cable is as firm as possible so I thought it was the pc fault after a few weeks for looking around I found out it was my monitor. I tried loading up osd but it wont load the monitor is able to power but the osd buttons is just dead any help?
Thanks in advance

Do you get the splash screen at all? Does it complain about no signal or just stay completely blank?

OK, are you still in warranty? If so it's time to contact Acer support for  repair. If not in warranty then we need to do a bit more diagnostics. When things are up and running so the monitor should show an image, shine a flashlight on the screen at an angle and see if you can see anything, however faint.

OK, so it's not a bum backlight then. Try a full power reset. Disconnect all cables from the monitor then press and hold power for 30 seconds or so. Wait a few minutes and plug everything back in and try turning it back on. Sometimes the monitors can get into a confused state that doesn't clear because the power is always there. Bleeding it off like that allows them to reset.
