Hi Acer gang,
I hope you guys are safe doing this time.

Self-quarantined at home, I have decided to give a clean up and upgrade to my Aspire. New thermal paste, upgraded the ram, compressed air everywhere and an SSD.
So checked online and see all specs for my project. Max ram possibles, DDR, blablabla
I read online here, that if you have an Aspire 5 with a 1T Hdd, it means there is a NVMe slot, so I checked and it is the case.

I got a very good deal from a friend for a very new SSD,

WD_Black SN750 250GB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND - WDS250G3X0C.

I put it in the slot, no screws, I had to add my own, actually a few screws (3) were missing and it is the first time I open it, as the warranty as ended. Anyway.

I have done a recovery (flash)  drive and followed the instructions from this video : https://au.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/61669/~/instructions-for-installing-an-m.2-ssd-and-installing-windows-10

But the WD SSD,  doesn't show up on the BIOS.

If I place the HDD it works fine though. So if it's a compatibility issue, no prob I can reorder a different one and what would you recommend.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you can help.

Take care.

Johnny
