Predator 15 fullscreen games are dim

I've had this issue for a day, and I have no idea what caused it. Any game on Steam or Origin that are fullscreen dim, the brightness and gamma are all the same, but everything runs fine in windowed mode. I've updated drivers, checked power settings, display, and so on, nothing fixes it. The only thing I've found that works is just unplugging my laptop, but if I plug it back in when its low and start a new game, we're back at square one.

The only games it does not affect are Minecraft and Battlefield 1942 as they are my only games not on Steam or Origin. I'd check World of Warships if it was actually updated, but right now I lack the proper interent to update it. Considering its relation to the power cable, id guess its a problem in there but that makes no sense to me. I've also tried going into game setting files to increase the gamma but no luck there either.

I've had my laptop for a few years now, play on it often. Maybe its just wearing out?
