I have been having this problem for some time now, I believe for over a year maybe? My camera worked well back in Windows 8.1 days, but in Windows 10 it seems something went a bit off. My Windows seem to be constantly losing connection with the HD WebCam. I have noticed that in case of Skype, when it loses connection with the camera it also says that "OpaqueMixedReality" camera is used instead. I don't have any other camera device so I don't know what this is. Does anyone know how to fix this? It is so annoying having lectures only to find out Windows has randomly decided to switch from real camera to an imaginary one lol.
