Acer Predator Triton 700 (Predator PT715-51) loses internet connectivity for 5-15 seconds
Hi!
I have a Predator Triton 700, namely Predator PT715-51 for about 2 years now.
I had no issues with this laptop at all. However, in the last 4-6 weeks I've started noticing something:
My laptop loses internet connection for 5-15 seconds. It differs how often it happens, but it happens at least once per hour on average. It's more noticeable if I play games.
First, I thought it's my internet provider, but I have just moved flats and I have a new provider, and my flatmate has no internet connection issue and I haven't experienced this on phone either.
Second I thought it's the game, but it happens with other games as well. Then I thought it's Steam, but it happens with BattleNet too.
And in general, it happens loading a webpage as well from time to time. Sometimes I see it's losing the connection to the router entirely and then it tries to reconnect. But most of the time it stays connected, but my internet speed drops to zero.
I'm on WiFi and currently cannot try out wired connection, but if you guys suggest so, I could do that - although I don't see this as a solution, the wireless connection is a must-have for this laptop category level, if that makes sense.
I would think (and hope) it's a software issue from some sort of recent update and not a hardware issue, but I'm not sure what would be the next step to resolve this, because I'm unsure what the exact problem is and how could further narrow it down. Probably I could try and start rolling back some updates?

I haven't ever changed anything on my laptop on the hardware side and never opened it up.
Thank you for your replies in advance!
